We are pleased to now offer Visions In Motion Online!
Visions In Motion Online is a monthly subscription that provides access to dance instruction designed to keep your dancers engaged and moving forward with dance.

What types of classes are offered?
The memberships are organized based on our dance levels: A, B and 1 thru 5. If you are unsure of your dancer’s level, please reach out to us ([email protected]). For current students, you should enroll in the same level you are enrolled for the 2019-20 dance season.

Does my child need previous dance experience?
No previous dance experience is required. We are very excited to welcome new dancers! If your student is new, please connect with us to determine the right level to start. [email protected]
Will there be a recital?
Our goal with Visions Online is to work towards a performance by our students. With the social distancing requirements, there’s a good chance it won’t be like the recital we planned for Spring 2020 or like the recitals we’ve done in the past. We know there’s been a lot of time, energy and expense put into preparing for the Spring Recital, and we hope to leverage as much of that effort and expense as possible. In the coming months, as we get more clarity on the logistics of public gatherings, we’ll begin formulating more detailed plans around a public performance by our students.
Is Visions Online Membership required for recital?
We strongly recommend that students participate in Visions Online in order for them to stay conditioned, to keep and sharpen their core dance skills, and to keep up with the dance choreography. We know that dance helps to improve a student’s mental and emotional health by reducing stress, anxiety, depression, and boosting self-esteem. All the more reason to stay actively connected, especially now. We’ve tried to make the monthly investment in Visions Online as affordable as possible so that everyone can participate.
Is there a family discount?
Yes, if you have more than 1 student registered for Visions Online, the family rate is $50 per family per month.
How long is the online dance session?
The Online Dance session is scheduled from May through August (four months). If the social distancing guidelines and requirements change such that in-person classes are permitted, we may begin introducing classes at the studio.
Will you have in-person dance classes in the fall?
We certainly hope so! Of course, it all depends on the social distancing guidelines and requirements from the State. We will continue to monitor the guidelines from the State of Michigan and will keep you posted as our plans are made more firm. We will also post our updated procedures as it relates to logistics in the waiting area and our cleaning process for the studio as we get closer to the Fall. We miss all of our dancers!
Is there a credit for April tuition paid?
Yes, if you’ve paid tuition for the month of April for your dancer, we will credit that amount towards Visions In Motion Online. We are so thankful for all the wonderful Visions families that are supporting us through this tough time!
What is CLI Studios?
We’re partnering with CLI Studios in Los Angeles to provide a wide variety of additional dance videos and resources for students age 9 and older. Take classes from professional, well-known choreographers and dancers, 24-7. Our dancers can find new and inspiring content each week so there is always something new to see. Your monthly membership with Visions Online gets you total access to the CLI material. Check out this video: Support your local studio with CLI
If my student misses a live class, can it be made up?
Yes, all of our classes led by Visions dance instructors will be recorded and made available for your student to view at a later time.
